what else than.............The RTSHOCK_PROJECT!
This project is a meltdown between spraycan-artist Dieter Vander Ougstraete and photographer Lieve De Becker.
These two disciplines merge into tensend portraits placed in a surrealistic enviroment.
Mixed Mimics shows the artists interpertation of facial expression and emotion.
As guest we present you An De Becker who will show her piece of furniture which was contaminated with the one and only Mixed Mimics~Virus.

We hope to welcome you at our show and Art-Is-Sjok will do their utmost best to get you an interesting exhibition year!!

Our next artist presented by Art-Is-Sjok is Pajere, a belgian painter working nearby Antwerp. His paintings are a mishmash of smaller and bigger parts. In a lyricle way he points with his figures, signs and other elements to nature and the circus of live. The colors are clear, warm and joyfull. The soul of these paintsings show a deep alliance with men, women en child in a peacefull world. As Pajere state's, "My work is alway symbolic, there's a story te tell".Of course, you're all invited! Free entrance from 22.30 till 24.00. And people, beware of the nose.. this guy is sniffing around in buznizz not of his!!

Wihout a doubt it was early for us! But with a good breakfast everything went wel that day. 2500 Visitors is a good score, among them Madam Els van Weert, Cultural Secretary of State, Mayor & Aldermen from the city of Duffel, special guest and staff of Opnieuw&Co. For a lot of people it was quite a different Sunday Breakfast!! See the pictures above.

With more then 2500 visitors Opnieuw & Co was a big succes. The works of Stef van Eyck fitted perfectly in the scenery. You can visit the exhibition till 22 oktober 2005 in Duffel. From the left to the right you see The Baselic & The Cathedral. Art-Is-Sjok thanx Stef Van Eyck for his magnificent contribution.

Tomorrow 3 sept is the opening night for our two artist Liev & Lut. Be sure you don't miss this marvellous mixture of rawness jet elegant paintings. The Muzen hanging at the walls @ La Rocca play each their own tune. From 'Do' 'Re' 'Mi' ...till 'Si'. Futhermore there is 'RED', 'Organic' and 'Airjump'. The last one is painted on both side's of the panel... so the buyer of this work gets two paintings for the price of one! Special attention goes to Patrik Ceuppens with his video on the two women artists. I'm informed there will be a mysterious and beautifull gipsy woman who will dance at this vernisage. Our main stage and sponsor is the Famous And Original Ballroom La Rocca in Lier nearby the city of Antwerp. We hope to provide our readers and supporters an easy way to comment on our posts.
